First foal by Toccet born at Idle Hour Farm

The first reported foal by two-time Grade 1-winning juvenile Toccet was born on Thursday at Idle Hour Farm in Paris, Kentucky.

The foal, a chestnut filly, is out of the unraced Lord At War (Arg) mare Elegant Asset, who has produced six winners, including stakes-placed Minkie, by Red Ransom. Idle Hour's owner, David Hager II, bred the foal.

"She has size, strength, and her daddy's great hip and shoulder," Hager said. "She should be a precocious filly and I am very pleased."

Toccet, a six-year-old son of Awesome Again, stands for $15,000 at Castleton Lyons in Lexington. As a two-year-old in 2002, Toccet won six of eight starts, including the Champagne Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park and the Hollywood Futurity (G1) at Hollywood Park. He earned $931,387 in three seasons of racing.
